I have had an absolutely wonderful experience at this specific storage unit. Geraldine and I hope I’m spelling that right… Is so friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. It’s not often you get this kind of service at a storage unit place highly recommend.

A few months ago, I lost both my job and my home within a very short period of time. It was one of the most difficult and overwhelming experiences of my life, and I never imagined I would find myself in that position.
One of the unexpected bright spots during that time was Geraldine, the property manager. From the very beginning, she was responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. She took the time to call me back, helped me choose the right-sized unit for my needs, met me in person while I was at the storage and made what felt like an impossible situation just a little easier to navigate.
People often underestimate how much a warm greeting, genuine compassion, and a few extra minutes of personal attention can mean when someone is going through a difficult time.
Geraldine reminded me that kindness still exists. She treated me with dignity instead of making me feel like just another customer.
The facility itself was clean, secure, and well maintained, but what I'll remember most is how Geraldine made me feel. In a chapter of my life filled with uncertainty, her professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help made a real difference.

My first time having a storage unit has been great due to how easy and helpful Geraldine and Steve have made things for me. I do not have any issues with my unit or with getting in and out of the property.
A a week or so ago, I met Jason and was inquiring about some units. During my visit, I learned the gate hours are 6am-9pm, the facility is monitored by 24/7 cameras, and there’s a Public Storage App for gate access, account info, and balance checks. Office hours are reasonable. I’m disappointed my husband got ahead of me and got another unit somewhere else but Jason seems to know about the business and the please it kept clean!
This property is amazing! Geraldine is even more wonderful and bilingual!! (Spanish) glad to know she is the face of the company here and I just found out today Jenny no longer works there (good riddance) and I am now deciding to stay because of Geraldine and give it another shot here. Geraldine’s professionalism of the business is spectacular! There’s also an app you can use to access facility , cameras 24/7s and office hours are weird but take the chance to talk to Geraldine to see!
Geraldine is amazing at communicating and helping me out and answered all my questions throughlu you she is one person doing the job of 1000. Has a bright personality. Property has cameras that run 24/7, secure with a gate and has an app available to utilize to open the gate. If you need storage recommended this place but patience is needed while learning the ropes of the office! I feel safe and confident my stuff is secured and protected here. If you get a hallway unit, those doors have simplex locks!

This facility is the best for so many important reasons-I have rented here for 5 years and have never had my rate increased, even with new management and ownership. It is safe and secure and so clean. The new management is even better than the last- Geraldine and Patricia run the office so professionally and go the extra mile for their customers. I would not rent anywhere else!
Very clean and well maintained facility! Rent is extremely reasonable, almost a tenth of what i was paying at Public Storage. An added bonus is no more mice or rats like at Public Storage of of Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa.

While I did not get a storage here, I had walked in to see some prices and units for some stuff I thought I needed to store and Geraldine greeted me with a smile and was ready to help. She told me property information such as cameras that run 24/7, property and gate hours as well as other ways to get help if she is not on site or just missed her at the office. She also mentioned something about an app that can open the gate with Bluetooth so you never have to get out of the car… sweet! Her current customers are lucky to have a property manager who has a go to attitude and warm smile & is ready to help and find solutions.

I have had my space for about a year now and have been with Public Storage since they took over. I have seen managers come and go but Geraldine has helped me with everything I have requested. She is very friendly and always greets you with a smile. The property is well taken care of surprisingly as she is the one who works alone but always makes time for her tenants. 100% recommended!

Just got out of jail and after a rough couple months, I was two months behind and literally one day from losing my unit at Public Storage.
Geraldine had everything already ready for my arrival, and removed the red lock the day before when I made the payment. So when I arrived it avoided the humiliating walk of shame to the locker, she handled it with zero judgment, no lectures, no drama, and made catching up super easy and straightforward, like it was no big deal. But she also shared community rules and expectations clearly and her calm confidence shows, so you know your belongings safe and in good hands.
Geraldine turned what could’ve been humiliating into the smoothest, most stress-free experience.

Starting a new account and selecting a 5x10 unit was actually really simple and the whole process was seamless and only took about five minutes, and setup included a new lock, and storage insurance, gate can be acessed by code or bluetooth, app is flawless as well. They're true about the $1 first month thingy too. Awesome!

Oh my goodness - I just left this facility with the most delightful storage experience ever. When I originally went in a week ago, it was an Extra Space storage but when I arrived today, it had transformed into a Public Storage. I was nervous that my reservation would’ve been canceled or lost, but that was quite the opposite. The two women that were working were not only friendly and charismatic, but genuine and helpful. They allowed me to keep my original reservation after finding the appropriate email. Then they walked me through the steps to download the app to gain gate access, etc. I don’t think I’ve ever left a storage unit smiling as much as I did. I highly recommend this company for your any and all of your storage needs. Thank you again for the lovely customer service 💕🫶🏻

Not even 24hrs after posting my review I was contacted by Extra Space and I have to admit, their customer service and dedication by the local managers (Randy and Nick) to find a solution to my situation is commendable, appreciated, and restores my full trust at this location.

Signed up little over a year ago for the great price of $60ish for a 7x10 ... 3-4 months later it DOUBLES to $120ish. Ok, fine.. $120 is more in line with market rates.
And now the next notice arrives maybe 8-9 months later for a $100 increase ..an 85% jump (absolutely laughable in its greediness).
The units are about what you'd expect..I've found rat droppings on my boxes despite the traps they setup, some have been broken in to I've heard, the bathrooms are no longer open to paying renters because I was told "they're trying to sell the place so they haven't purchased anything (to replenish the bathrooms or clean then I presume) in a few months."
The people who work here are generally friendly with a tinge of crankiness.. probably brought on by the complaints they have to deal with due to this company's, let's be honest, SHADY business practices.
I have another unit in Sebastopol where I pay $220 now after a $20 increase after 13 months of renting...for a 10x10!... and that unit is indoors, with CRAZY security (almost annoying really but I know my stuff is safe), a roll-up door, ZERO pests, clean, and with multiple bathrooms for renters to use lol.
Stay away from this place unless your just looking to store your things for 3ish months. The facility employees will front you smiles to make you feel comfortable and gain your trust, then the company will gouge your pocketbook with increases after they get you on autopay and hope you don't notice. The front desk employees will also repeatedly ask you to provide a review on Google after signing up know that most of us don't go back to reviews to update. I was going to write a 5 Star review after getting my unit but I just forgot. Thankfully I didn't bc this is NOT worthy of even the 1 star I'm forced to give in order to write this review.

Great service, great pricing, and helpful during the frustrating, and often confusing times of finding a storage unit to rent.
However, G- Maps has not given an accurate entrance location. You will need to drive down Roseland Ave. and the entrance to the office is approx. one (1) city block and to the left side.
Nick was very helpful throughout the complete registration process.
