I was surprised to find out that Public Storage had taken over My Storage because I was not informed by the previous owner. I found out by receiving an email from Public Storage announcing the transition and that I needed to sign another agreement with them. When I went to the office at 125 Business Rd. I was informed by the guy, Mike from Public Storage that I had 30 days free, so I wouldn’t have to pay until starting in July. Then a few days ago I happened to check my email and saw an email stating that I was past due and notice of property being auctioned. Of course, I went into panicked mood because I hadn’t received any previous notice, so I paid the amount immediately until I could get clarification. When I went to the office the following day, Ms Regina apologized and explained everything to me. I really appreciate her taking the time to explain everything to me. She made the difference of me keeping my storage unit there. I was able to get in via my code without any issues. I checked on my unit and everything was fine. Now that the transition is over I am looking forward to smooth transactions in the future.
